ASTR342---Term Papers

Note that I consider papers acquired from term paper services, taken largely verbatim from web, copied from papers from previous semesters of ASTR 342 or any other sources to be a violation of the Honor Code. You must not have submitted the same paper to another course for credit.

Paper 1: Deadline: Thursday, 3 April. If you have an end of the semester crunch and want early comments, try to get Paper 1 to me by 6PM, 3 April.

Due Dates: Even though the official Due Date for Paper 1 is 3 April, I will not be very strict about it. I will grade the papers in the order that they are handed in, so if you want it back soon hand it in soon. I will not deduct points unless you abuse me. For example, If your paper comes wandering in after I have returned most of the rest I get surly and will deduct points depending on just how surly I feel. Note that Paper 1 is required. If you don't hand it in or hand it in along with Paper 2 you lose a letter grade in the course.
